When was the last time you strapped on a pair of skates and took a few turns around the skate floor? Remember when you were a child and attended roller skating birthday parties with your friends, or maybe even had a few parties of your own in elementary school? How about when you were 15 and the rink was THE place to be on a Friday or Saturday night. All of the kids from the local high schools were there. Ahhhh, the memories….waiting to be asked to skate when the DJ played any Air Supply song; stacking quarters on top of Pac Man, Asteroids or Galega; or getting a soft pretzel and a coke from the snack bar. Roller skating, and more specifically, the RINK is the stuff our childhood dreams were made of. Who says those days have to end? Today roller skating rinks are family friendly and people from 2-102 can be found tooling around the floor. Make plans with your family, or your friends, and come on out for a great time and make some new memories. I guarantee you have just as much fun as you did all those years ago.
